Keep thinking it’s all about the food and supplements… but eventually, you need to call yourself out.

What does your personality have to do with your health? Let's look at it physically, mentally, and energetically

Physically: Being in a constant state of fight/flight/freeze or fawn (people-pleasing and being a doormat)… means you’re stuck in the opposite state you need to be in for healing, detoxing, digesting (parasympathetic state)

These behaviors can be causing more inflammation in your body, making you feel like you're fighting an uphill battle with your health. 
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mentally: Overcorrecting with diet, beating yourself up when you “fall off” or “didn’t reintroduce right”, more food fear, more obsessing, more rushing.. how is your body supposed to heal like that? How are you supposed to find any joy or peace again? These blind spots are keeping you stuck. You won’t be able to zoom out and address the larger piece of your health puzzle if you’re stuck in one spot.

Energetically: The attitude and mindset you bring to this dictates your experience. Perception is everything. If you’re convinced you’re trying to fix your broken body, rushing to remission, or riding a rollercoaster of going really hard with a new intervention only to burnout… you’ll keep up on this cycle and nothing you try will work.

💊Supplementing with fish oil (EFA/DHA) is a great way to support your body with essential fatty acids... ALL your cells are wrapped in fat and we NEED it for everything. It can support reducing inflammation, stronger digestion, mood, energy, hair/skin/nails, etc. and more balanced hormones.

Short answer: NO.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While elimination diets are SHORT TERM, and we don't want to be on them for too long, we do want to know the tools to recognize our triggers, how to remove them, and how to heal and challenge reintroductions.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When it feels overwhelming like so many triggers could be at work... a wide-swipe elimination diet can help provide relief if you're ready to take that on. But just as much as eliminations are a part of it, so are REINTRODUCTIONS and they have to be planned out as part of it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When you've been through the ringer with elimination diets and feel like you can't do it again, simply tuning into your body with a food/mood journal to remove suspected triggers out for a short while, as you work on some healing can be just the thing you need! And that way you're greatly reducing the culprits without causing more stress. 
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How do you REINTRODUCE in either scenario? Here are my tips.

1. Organize your calendar and decide what you're trying to reintroduce, spacing the foods out by 3 days each.

2. Try a serving of the food ALONE in it's purest form.

3. Keep a food/mood journal along the way and really tune in and pay attention to your body's reactions (mental/physical, etc.) - jot down any anomalies like other stressors that might be at play and try your best to select a time that you're not traveling, on your period, or something else that would obviously throw digestion or hormones off.

4. Take it easy on yourself and know you can always pause/come back to it. Laugh at yourself. Find your bio-individuality!

Trust that you'll know what's best for you.
