📣 How I healed my gut and have helped hundreds of women overcome symptoms while eating in peace...
My Client Thought She Had to Do AIP to Heal Her Hashimoto’s… Here’s What We Did Instead

What’s Inside: I’m taking you through real client case studies of women who came to me thinking AIP was the be-all, end-all to control their Hashimoto’s, IBS, Psoriasis, and more… spoiler alert: they’re all eating with more peace, balance, and joy — and healing, going into remission, and feeling better than ever before *without* AIP or restrictive elimination diets.

When my client, let’s call her Sarah, came to me, she was exhausted. Not just from her Hashimoto’s, but from trying to eat perfectly 24/7 (with little results to show for it).
She’d done multiple rounds of the AIP diet, trying to follow every rule. She was terrified to reintroduce anything. Still, she was bloated, foggy, and felt more disconnected from food than ever.
Sound familiar?
Why AIP Isn’t Always the Full Answer
AIP (Autoimmune Protocol) is a powerful tool, I’ve written about it, developed recipes around it, and used it myself. But it’s not a forever thing. As I’ve written on here before, 30-90 days is the absolute max and even that may not be what you need. We have to honor everyone’s uniqueness as the number 1 rule.
Sarah had been using AIP like a life sentence instead of a launching pad. And that wasn’t helping her body heal.
The truth is, healing Hashimoto’s (or any autoimmune condition) isn’t about being the most “perfect” AIP follower. It’s about creating a plan for your body’s real needs.
What We Did Instead
When Sarah joined my In Tune Method 1:1 coaching program, we focused on her whole picture, not just her food list.
Here’s what we uncovered and addressed:
- Gut motility and digestion: AIP wasn’t fixing the bloating, we had to look deeper at her gut terrain and functional labs
- Nervous system regulation: stress was triggering more flares than dairy or nightshades ever had
- Blood sugar imbalance: AIP meals were leaving her depleted and riding a blood sugar rollercoaster leading to hormonal issues, crashing energy, and disrupted sleep
- Lack of guidance: she needed a custom roadmap and protocol, not another PDF download, 2 am Google search, or lengthy “to-do” list
And this story isn’t just a one-off.
Sarah’s Breakthroughs
💩 Regular digestion (no more daily constipation and bloat)
🧴 Clearer skin (hello, confidence!)
⚡️More sustainable energy (she could actually show up present at work and with her loved ones and no longer woke up exhausted)
🍕 Food reintroductions without fear (balance was back on the table… travel, dining out, and cooking at home no longer felt like symptom roulette)
😌 A peaceful mindset around meals (after a lifetime of diet culture and healing confusion, she came to us overwhelmed but now had confidence and ditched the food noise)
✨She didn’t just get better digestion, she got her life back.✨
