Servings 4 people
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork (or poultry)
- 2 tsp ground fennel seeds or fennel powder (may also grind seeds in a coffee grinder) - omit for AIP eliminations
- 1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425f degrees or 400f degrees on convection setting and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix ground meat with spices until well blended.
- Score the meat into even sections, making approximately 10-12 small patties by hand and squishing down flat (alternatively, you could use a biscuit cutter for more uniform pieces!) Place sausage patties onto the lined baking sheet in a single layer and bake for approximately 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway until the thermometer reads at least 160f degrees.
- Serve or let the sausages rest before storing away in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 1-month.
