This baked breakfast sausage patties recipe comes together in less than 30 minutes from start to finish and only requires 8 ingredients! Perfect for an early weekday breakfast or a late weekend brunch.
2tspground fennel seeds or fennel powder(may also grind seeds in a coffee grinder) - omit for AIP eliminations
1 1/2tspdried oregano
1 1/2tspdried parsley
Preheat the oven to 425f degrees or 400f degrees on convection setting and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix ground meat with spices until well blended.
Score the meat into even sections, making approximately 10-12 small patties by hand and squishing down flat (alternatively, you could use a biscuit cutter for more uniform pieces!) Place sausage patties onto the lined baking sheet in a single layer and bake for approximately 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway until the thermometer reads at least 160f degrees.
Serve or let the sausages rest before storing away in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 1-month.
